Replacing the MKIV factory extractor and firing pin with these Volquartsen parts eliminated my stovepipe problem. I fired 500 rounds after the replacement and did not have a single stovepipe or failure to fire. I would recommend this upgrade even on a new pistol that has never been fired. The factory extractor and firing pin will not last very long.
